I have a couple of young students who crawl under tables in the afternoon.
I won’t lie-it’s internally aggravating.
On the outside, I am a font of calm while my guts churn, wondering what to do to get them out from under there.
Ignoring does not work. Rewarding the others who aren’t under the table doesn’t work.
Prepping them with motivational speeches in the morning, setting goals for the afternoon…hasn’t worked.
Is this like my own life? Do I “crawl under tables” at various times-unavailable/unwilling to join the fold?
If I figure THAT out, will I figure my young students out?
For today, I’ll just accept that they go under there.
